Curated Design Assets
Crafted from Abodo Vulcan® decking, selected for its refined appearance, stability, and durability, this piece is manufactured from rapidly renewable FSC® certified New Zealand Radiata Pine. The timber is thermally modified through a heat-temering process and treated with Abodo's low-VOC OPX organic preservative system, incorporating water-repellent protection to enhance long-term performance and weather resistance.
Components are mechanically fixed using Buildex® 14G × 75mm Class 4 bugle batten screws, recessed and detailed to maintain a clean architectural expression while ensuring structural integrity.
All timber surfaces are finished with Loba® 1K, a premium water-based polyurethane-acrylate coating selected for its natural low-sheen appearance and durable protective qualities. The finish provides excellent wear resistance while preserving the texture and character of the timber, resulting in a robust yet refined surface suited to everyday residential use.
All of the above components have been fabricated from surplus materials recovered from completed construction projects, extending the lifecycle of otherwise discarded resources.

This is a hand painted landscape of our local island, Rangitoto. The canvas, possibly originating halfway up a Kauri tree, was torn from the walls of a 1890s workers cottage during phase one of the renovation. A while later, an obsession with Rangitoto bubbled up to the surface to bring forth this piece.
In simple, playful tones it stands as a symbol of permanence, local pride, and the perfect form of the hand made.
1 of 1. 1000mm × 180mm. Acrylic on reclaimed hardwood. Hand painted by involved founder, Travers Reynolds
